Background
I originally got involved with SEO as a result of selling products via Facebook Ads and my website. I loved selling on Facebook Ads but kept breaking even with the advertising costs. I did this all as a side project while at University,
So I needed a way to rank my website organically and get away from those pesky ad costs, so that’s when I stumbled along SEO.
From that day onwards, I became devoted to SEO. I learnt all I could on my own and then made contacts in the community, I got an SEO freelance position while at Uni and then worked for that agency once I graduated.
Since then I have been an SEO specialist at agencies and SEO freelancer and still loving SEO.
SEO and Google are forever changing, to stay on top of your game you have to constantly be trying and testing new things. I regularly attend SEO conferences to ensure I am always updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and trends.
